Here's your one-stop shop for everything you need to know about Hilow week! From July 11 to July 17, we'll be hosting seven days of prompts to create for Hitch Dreyse & Marlowe Freudenberg! Check out the prompts below as well as links to all of our socials.

Rules & Guidelines

In order to make sure the event runs smoothly and everyone has fun, here are some rules and guidelines to bear in mind!

  • The event will take place from July 11 - July 17

  • Tag @HilowWeek and use #HilowWeek2022 on Twitter

  • Tag @Hilow.Week and use #HilowWeek2022 on Instagram

  • Tag @hilow-week and use #HilowWeek2022 on Tumblr

  • Tag @hilow.week and use #HilowWeek2022 on TikTok

  • Any and all forms of content are accepted! Whether it be art, fics, edits, or playlists we'll be sharing it - the only limit is your imagination!

  • Late submissions will be accepted. Create when you're ready!

  • Be sure to use the proper tags when sharing - such as #NSFW if the content is not suitable for minors

  • Use all appropriate tags when necessary for the safety & comfort of everyone involved in the event. These tags may include, but are not limited to, gore, death mentions, and dead dove do not eat. Use your best judgement!

  • If you do not want to see NSFW content, please mute the #NSFW tag

  • Post on whatever platform you'd like! Hilow Week has an official Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram page as well as a collection on AO3

  • Be kind to your fellow contributors!

Hilow Week is a week of prompts dedicated to creating content centering the ship between Hitch Dreyse and Marlowe Freudenberg - sometimes called Hilow, Hitchlowe, Hitlowe, or Rurohichi. We want to celebrate the ship by creating content, and celebrate creators by sharing content. Any and all creative endeavors are supported by the mod team - from fics and art to cosplays and edits, the only limit is your imagination!

Q: What can I make for Hilow Week?
A: Anything you'd like! Whether it's art, fanfiction, cosplay, edits, or playlists, we want to see what you were inspired to create!
Q: Do I have to participate every day?
A: Only if you want to! You can participate in as many or as few days as you'd like - the important thing is to make sure that you're having fun!
Q: Do you accept late submissions?
A: Yes! Feel free to submit any time, just be sure to tag us and use #HilowWeek2022 to make sure that we see it in order to share your hard work!
Q: Can I include other ships in my work?
A: Yes, you can! As long as the focus is on Hilow, include as many or as few ships as you would like! We do ask, however, that you keep these portrayals positive - Hilow Week is all about celebrating Hilow, not putting other ships down!
Q: Do I have to use both prompts in my work?
A: Only if you'd like! You can use one prompt, combine both prompts, or use no prompts at all! The prompts are here to help you feel inspired and if you find that none of them speak to you, feel free to create whatever you'd like! You can also combine prompts for different days if that's what inspires you!
Q: What language should submissions be in?
A: Any! This event isn't limited to speakers of a particular language or residents of a particular country. As long as you tag us and use #HilowWeek2022 we'll share it!
Q: Is NSFW content allowed?
A: Yes, as decided by the results of our interest check, we do allow NSFW content. However, you MUST tag it with #NSFW so that those who do not wish to see it can mute the tag.
